The Secretary of State for Transport, with the consent of the Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973[
1] hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Goods Vehicles (Authorisation of International Journeys) (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 30th August 2004.
Amendment
2.
- (1) The Goods Vehicles (Authorisation of International Journeys) (Fees) Regulations 2001[
2] are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 3(1)(a) substitute "£121" for "£107".
(3) In regulation 3(1)(b) substitute "£30" for "£27".
(4) In regulation 3(3)(a) substitute "£7" for "£6".
(5) In regulation 3(3)(b) substitute "£12.50" for "£11".
(6) In regulation 3(3)(c) substitute "£46" for "£41".
(7) In regulation 3(4) substitute "£16" for "£14".
(8) In regulation 3(5) substitute "£7" for "£6".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations increase some of the fees that are payable under the Goods Vehicles (Authorisation of International Journeys) (Fees) Regulations 2001.
The changes are as follows:
