The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 198 of the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act 2003[
1], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order: -
Citation and commencement
1.
This Order may be cited as the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act 2003 (Isles of Scilly) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 1st April 2004.
Application of the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act 2003 to the Isles of Scilly
2.
In its application to the Isles of Scilly, the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act 2003 shall have effect with the modification that any reference to a local authority is to be construed as a reference to the Council of the Isles of Scilly.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides that in its application to the Isles of Scilly, the Health and Social Care (Community Health and Standards) Act 2003 is to have effect with the modification that any reference to a local authority is to be construed as a reference to the Council of the Isles of Scilly.
