The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 36B(5) of the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000[
1], hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.
This Order may be cited as the Community Order (Electronic Monitoring of Requirements) (Responsible Officer) (Amendment) Order 2001 and shall come into force at 7.00 pm on 1st October 2001.
Amendment of the Community Order (Electronic Monitoring of Requirements) (Responsible Officer) Order 2001
2.
- (1) In article 5 of the Community Order (Electronic Monitoring of Requirements) (Responsible Officer) Order 2001[
2], for the text from "GSSC" to the end there is substituted "Reliance Secure Task Management Limited of Boundary House, Cricketfield Road, Uxbridge, Middlesex UB8 1QG".
(2) In the heading to Schedule 3 to that Order, for "GSSC OF EUROPE LIMITED" there is substituted "RELIANCE SECURE TASK MANAGEMENT LIMITED".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the descriptions of persons who are to be made responsible, by a community order, for the electronic monitoring of an offender's compliance with the requirements of that community order. Employees of GSSC of Europe Limited are replaced by employees of Reliance Secure Task Management Limited in the areas in which GSSC of Europe Limited formerly operated.
