MR JUSTICE LINDSAY (PRESIDENT)
- This was to have been an appeal by Dr A Abegaze in the matter Abegaze v Burton College. Very recently the Employment Appeal Tribunal has received a letter from Dr Abegaze withdrawing this appeal. The reasons given for the withdrawal include that he believed that he could not get an unbiased decision here. I am disturbed that he should think that but he gave no reason for that belief in his letter and, of course, there is no means of obliging him to conduct the appeal if he chooses not to. He cannot be obliged to do so and his intention to withdraw the appeal is quite clearly stated. The appeal therefore is dismissed upon its withdrawal.
