JUDGMENT
PRELIMINARY HEARING
For the Appellants | NO APPEARANCE OR REPRESENTATION BY OR ON BEHALF OF THE APPELLANTS |
MR JUSTICE CHARLES: The parties to this appeal are a Company called Selectapack Ltd and Mr Nash. The matter comes before us today on a preliminary hearing.
Yesterday the Tribunal received a letter from Solicitors who had been acting for Selectapack, who are the Appellants, requesting an adjournment but indicating that they were no longer instructed. My reaction to that was that any request for an adjournment should come from the Company itself. Such a request has been received by fax today and therefore we will stand this matter out of the list. It will be re-listed again for a preliminary hearing to give Selectapack the opportunity if they wish to be represented at that hearing.
We say now that it is unlikely that a further adjournment will be allowed and that a future Tribunal will be likely simply to deal with this case in the absence of the Company if they do not appear.
