MR JUSTICE KEENE: This is an appeal brought to us at very short notice because it is an appeal against an interlocutory decision.
The Employment Appeal Tribunal has now been asked by a faxed letter yesterday to adjourn today's hearing because of problems which the appellant has.
So far as we are aware, there has been no response from the respondent either to the listing of the appeal for today or to the subsequent request for an adjournment; but on the face of it, it seems to us perfectly clear that this matter should be adjourned, particularly since the Industrial Tribunal substantive hearing to which it relates has also been adjourned.
In those circumstances, we propose to adjourn this appeal in Sara Lee for a date to be fixed.
