The Argyll and Bute Council and West Dunbartonshire Council Boundaries (Ardoch Sewage Works) Amendment Order 2002

Whereas under section 17(1) of the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1973[1] the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland on 17th January 2001 submitted to the Scottish Ministers a report on a review conducted under section 14(2) of that Act in which they made proposals for the transfer of a certain area between the Argyll and Bute Council and West Dunbartonshire Council, and in which they also made proposals for changes in electoral arrangements consequential on that change in local government areas; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 17(2) of the said Act and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf the Scottish Ministers hereby make the following Order to give effect to the proposals of that Commission as submitted to them:
"boundary map" means the map prepared by the Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland marked "The Argyll and Bute Council and West Dunbartonshire Council Boundaries (Ardoch Sewage Works) Amendment Order 2002 Map" and deposited in accordance with regulation 3 of the 1977 Regulations;
and, in the Schedule, any reference to an administrative boundary is a reference to a boundary existing immediately before the commencement of this Order.
