The Scottish Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 28 and 33(4) of the Nurses (Scotland) Act 1951[1], and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Regulations: Citation and commencement 1. These Regulations may be cited as the Nurses Agencies (Increase of Licence Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 2001, and shall come into force on 1st August 2001. Level of fees 2. In regulation 3(4) of the Nurses Agencies (Scotland) Regulations 1961[2] (which prescribes the fees payable upon making a first and subsequent application for a licence to carry on an agency for the supply of nurses) for "£4 4s. 0d." there shall be substituted "£175" and for "£2 2s. 0d." there shall be substituted "£125". Revocation 3. The Nurse Agencies (Increase of Licence Fees) (Scotland) Regulations 1968[3] are hereby revoked.
