Scope of Part VII. 111.(1) The parent of a child who is in the care of [the Ministry of Home Affairs] under section 103 shall secure that the ... Subs.(2)(3) rep. by 1972 NI 14 art.109(3) sch.18 (4) Any parent who knowingly contravenes subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding [#50]. (5) It shall be a defence in any proceedings under subsection (4) to prove that the defendant was residing at the same address as the other parent of the child, and had reasonable cause to believe that the other parent had informed the ...
