1871 c.22 110. If a child who is in the care of [the Ministry of Home Affairs] under section 103 comes pursuant to the provisions of the Lunacy Regulation (Ireland) Act 1871 or the Mental Health Act (Northern Ireland) 1961 under the control of any person or authority he shall thereupon cease to be in the care of [the Ministry] under this Act, but where, immediately before he comes under such control as aforesaid, a parental rights order was in force with respect to him, the rights and powers conferred on [the Ministry] by the order shall, so long as the order is in force, continue to be exercisable by [the Ministry], so, however, that the said rights and powers shall not be exercisable as against the person or authority having such control or so as to interfere with anything done by that person or authority with respect to the child.
