I, Joe Walsh, Minister for Agriculture and Food, in exercise of the powers conferred on me by Section 3 of the European Communities Act, 1972 ( No. 27 of 1972 ), and for the purpose of giving effect to Commission Directive 2002/97/EC of 16 December 20021 hereby make the following Regulations-- 1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) (Amendment) Regulations, 2003 and come into operation on 1 July 2003. 2. The European Communities (Pesticide Residues) (Cereals) Regulations 1999 ( S.I. No. 181 of 1999 ) is amended, in the Schedule, by the addition of the following matter to Part A of Annex II-- |

These Regulations amend existing Regulations on the fixing of maximum residue levels for pesticides in and on cereals. |
