The Welsh Ministers make the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 125 and 203(9) and (10) of the National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006(1).
1. The title of these Regulations is the National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Wales) (Amendment) Regulations 2018 and they come into force on 1 April 2018.
2. In regulation 4 of the National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Wales) Regulations 2006(2) (calculation of charges)-
(a)in paragraph (2), for "£44.00" substitute "£45.00";
(b)in paragraph (3), for "£190.00" substitute "£195.00"; and
(c)in paragraph (4), for "£190.00" substitute "£195.00".

These Regulations amend the National Health Service (Dental Charges) (Wales) Regulations 2006 (S.I. 2006/491 (W. 60)) ("the 2006 Regulations").
Regulation 2 amends regulation 4 of the 2006 Regulations (calculation of charges) by increasing the applicable charge payable for a Band 2 and a Band 3 course of treatment.
The Welsh Ministers' Code of Practice on the carrying out of Regulatory Impact Assessments was considered in relation to these Regulations. As a result, a regulatory impact assessment has been prepared as to the likely costs and benefits of complying with these Regulations. A copy can be obtained from the Primary Care Division of the Directorate for Primary Care and Innovation, Welsh Government, Cathays Park, Cardiff, CF10 3NQ.
