Mrs Justice Cockerill addressed the Leeds Business and Property Courts Forum in a hybrid event attended by the Chancellor, the head of the Leeds Circuit Commercial Court, HHJ Jonathan Klein, local professions and business representatives, on 1 December 2021.

The topic was "The Speedy Determination of the Questions really in Controversy between the Parties" : the mission of the Commercial Court and Circuit Commercial Courts, past, present and future" and it highlighted the contribution of Leeds to commercial litigation since the Court's foundation.

And on 9 December, Mr Justice Waksman addressed the London Common Law and Commercial Bar Association on the topic of: "Contractual Discretions: where are we now and where are we going?"
