The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 51(4) and (5) of the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022( 1), makes the following Regulations.
1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022 (Commencement No. 3) Regulations 2023.
(2) In these Regulations a reference to a section or Schedule by number alone means the section or Schedule so numbered in the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022.
(3) These Regulations have the same extent as the provisions commenced.
2. Sections 19 to 30, 32 and 33 and Schedule 3 come into force on the 21st day after the day on which these Regulations are made.

These Regulations are the third commencement regulations made under the Judicial Review and Courts Act 2022 (“ the Act”). They bring into force Chapter 2 of Part 2 of the Act, which establishes a new Online Procedure Rule Committee and makes provision about Online Procedure Rules, with the exception of section 31 and Schedule 4 (which will be brought into force at a later date).
An impact assessment has not been published for these Regulations as no significant impact on the private, voluntary or public sector is foreseen.
