The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by article 4(1) of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015(1).
1. This Order may be cited as the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (Cessation of Transitory Provision) Order 2020 and comes into force on 23rd September 2020.
2. The date appointed for the purposes of article 4(1) of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (transitory provision: date until which the Secretary of State may exercise functions of a Northern Ireland department) is 23rd September 2020.

This Order provides that the Secretary of State may not, on or after 23rd September 2020, by virtue of Article 4(1) of the Welfare Reform (Northern Ireland) Order 2015 (S.I. 2015/2006 (N.I.1)) exercise the functions of a Northern Ireland department under-
that Order,
the Welfare Reform and Work (Northern Ireland) Order 2016 (S.I. 2016/999 (N.I. 1)), or
other statutory provision relating to social security or child maintenance in Northern Ireland.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no, or no significant, impact on the private, public or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
