The Office for Students, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017(1), makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Power to Award Degrees etc. (Dyson Technical Training Limited) Order 2020 and shall come into force on 1st September 2021.
2. Dyson Technical Training Limited shall be competent to grant the following specified taught awards of the kind mentioned in section 42(2)(b) of the said Act:
(a) BEng (Hons) in Engineering Degree Apprenticeship; and
(b) BEng (Hons) Degree in Engineering.
3. Dyson Technical Training Limited shall only be competent to grant the specified taught awards mentioned in paragraph 2 of this Order for a fixed term beginning on 1st September 2021 and expiring on 30th November 2024.
4. Dyson Technical Training Limited shall only grant the awards specified in paragraph 2 of this Order to persons enrolled with it at the time they complete the course of study for which the award is granted.

This Order, made under section 42(1) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017 authorises Dyson Technical Training Limited with the power to award specified taught awards for a three- year and three-month fixed term expiring on 30th November 2024. This Order will come into force on 1st September 2021.
