The Lord Chancellor makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 21C(1) and 29 of the Prosecution of Offences Act 1985(1):
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Prosecution of Offences Act 1985 (Criminal Courts Charge) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 24th December 2015.
2. Omit regulation 3 (amount of the criminal courts charge) of, and the Schedule to, the Prosecution of Offences Act 1985 (Criminal Courts Charge) Regulations 2015(2).

These Regulations amend the Prosecution of Offences Act 1985 (Criminal Courts Charge) Regulations 2015 (S.I. 2015/796) to omit regulation 3 and the Schedule, which specified the amount of the criminal courts charge payable in different classes of case.
A full impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
