This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in S.I. 2014/1643 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (Amendment) Regulations 2015 and come into force on 26th October 2015.
2.-(1) The Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme Regulations 2014(3) are amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph 1(a)(ii) of Schedule 1, after "annual balance sheet total" insert "in excess".
(3) In paragraph 12 of Schedule 2, omit sub-paragraph (b).
(4) In Schedule 4-
(a)in paragraph 6, after "28" insert "days";
(b)in paragraph 12, omit "calendar"; and
(c)in paragraph 13, for "appeal body" substitute "Planning Appeals Commission".

These Regulations, issued free of charge, amend Schedules 1, 2 and 4 to the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme Regulations 2014 to correct drafting errors. Those Regulations implement Article 8(4) to (6) of Directive 2012/27/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on energy efficiency(4).
An impact assessment has not been prepared for these Regulations as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen. An Explanatory Memorandum is available alongside these Regulations on www.legislation.gov.uk.
1972 c.68. Section 2(2) is amended by section 27(1)(a) of the Legislative and Regulatory Reform Act 2006 (c.51) and by Part 1 of the Schedule to the European Union (Amendment) Act 2008 (c.7).
S.I. 2014/1643. Regulation 16(2)(b)(i) has been amended by paragraph 26 of Schedule 6 to the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (S.I. 2015/102).
