1. This scheme may be cited as the M11 Motorway (Junction 14 Connecting Road) Scheme 2014 and shall come into force on 17th November 2014.
2. The Secretary of State is authorised to provide for the exclusive use of traffic of Classes I and II of the classes of traffic set out in Schedule 4 to the Highways Act 1980 the new special road to provide a dedicated connecting road to the southbound carriageway of the M11 Motorway at Junction 14 as described in the Schedule to this Order.
3. The centre line of the special road is indicated by a heavy black line on the plan numbered HA/16/NDD/004, containing a site plan numbered 1, marked "The M11 Motorway (Junction 14 Connecting Road) Scheme 2014", signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at Document Deposit Service, Communities and Local Government, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex, TN37 7GA.
4. The new special road shall become a trunk road on the date when this scheme comes into force.

Articles 2 and 3
The southbound entry connecting road (slip road) from a point 8 metres southeast of the edge of the westbound carriageway of the A14 Trunk Road, situated 135 metres northeast of the centre point of Girton Accommodation over-bridge at Junction 31 Girton Interchange, to a point level with the start of the existing entry slip road to the southbound carriageway of M11 Motorway at Junction 14, in the County of Cambridgeshire. The new special road being given the number 1 on site plan 1.

This Order is to establish the line of a new dedicated slip road to the southbound carriageway of the M11 Motorway at Junction 14 (Girton Interchange) which will tie into the existing slip road at this location.
