The Secretary of State for Business, Innovation and Skills makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 22 and 42(6) of the Teaching and Higher Education Act 1998(1).
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Further Education Loans (Amendment) Regulations 2014 and come into force on 7th March 2014.
2. The Further Education Loans Regulations 2012(2) are amended in accordance with regulations 3 and 4.
3. In paragraph (1) of regulation 4 of the Further Education Loans Regulations 2012 omit sub-paragraphs (g) and (h).
4. In paragraph (3) of regulation 5 of the Further Education Loans Regulations 2012 omit sub-paragraphs (g) and (h).

These Regulations amend the Further Education Loans Regulations 2012 to remove the Advanced Apprenticeship Framework and the Higher Apprenticeship Framework from the list of further education courses designated under regulation 4(1) of those Regulations, and make consequential changes.
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this instrument as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
