1. This Scheme may be cited as the M67 Denton Relief Road Motorway and Connecting Roads (Variation) Scheme 2013 and shall come into force on 28th October 2013.
2. The M67 Denton Relief Road Motorway and Connecting Roads Scheme 1972(3) is hereby varied as follows:
(a)after Schedule 1 to that Scheme insert the schedule to this Scheme as ‘Schedule 1A'.

Article 2
At Denton in the Metropolitan Borough of Tameside, the westbound carriageway of the M67 Denton Relief Road Motorway shall end at a point 110 metres west of the centre line of the Denton Station overbridge as indicated by a black line on the plan numbered HA/530002/VAR/001 and marked The M67 Denton Relief Road Motorway and Connecting Roads Variation Scheme 2013, signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at Department for Communities and Local Government – DfT Records Management Branch, Floor 13, Ashdown House, St. Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex TN37 7GA.

This Scheme has the effect of removing special road (motorway) restrictions from a 111 metre long section of the westbound carriageway of the M67 motorway at its western end on the approach to the M60 Junction 24 (Denton) roundabout. The section of the westbound carriageway shall remain a trunk road and be renumbered as the A57(T).
