The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 59(1) of the Crime and Security Act 2010(1).
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Crime and Security Act 2010 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2011.
(2) In this Order "the Act" means the Crime and Security Act 2010.
2. The day appointed for the coming into force of the following sections of the Act is 9th January 2012:
(a)section 34 (grant of injunction: minimum age);
(b)section 35 (review on respondent to injunction becoming 18);
(c)section 36 (consultation of youth offending team);
(d)section 39 (powers of court on breach of injunction by respondent under 18).

This Order brings into force sections 34 to 36 and 39 of the Crime and Security Act 2010 on 9th January 2012 which enable injunctions to prevent gang-related violence to be enforced against those aged 14 to 17. Sections 37 and 38 of the Crime and Security Act 2010 were brought into force on 31st January 2011 by an earlier commencement order.
