The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 50 of the Competition Act 1998(1), makes the following Order;
In accordance with section 71 of that Act, a draft of this instrument was laid before Parliament and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
1. This Order may be cited as the Competition Act 1998 (Land Agreements Exclusion Revocation) Order 2010 and shall come into force on 6th April 2011.
2. The Competition Act 1998 (Land Agreements Exclusion and Revocation) Order 2004(2) is hereby revoked.

This Order revokes The Competition Act 1998 (Land Agreements Exclusion and Revocation) Order 2004 (SI 2004/1260) ("the 2004 Order"). The 2004 Order excludes land agreements, as defined in that Order, from the prohibition on anti-competitive agreements imposed by section 2 of the Competition Act 1998 (c.41) ("the Chapter I prohibition").
