Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 965 of the Companies Act 2006(1), by and with the advice and consent of Her Privy Council, makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Companies Act 2006 (Extension of Takeover Panel Provisions) (Isle of Man) Order 2009 and shall come into force on 1st July 2009.
2. Schedule 2 to the Companies Act 2006 as substituted by the Companies Act 2006 (Amendment of Schedule 2) (No. 2) Order 2009(2) shall extend to the Isle of Man.
3. In the Companies Act 2006 (Extension of Takeover Panel Provisions) (Isle of Man) Order 2008(3) paragraphs 9 and 10 of the Schedule are revoked.

This Order applies the provisions of Schedule 2 to the Companies Act 2006 (c. 46) as substituted by the Companies Act 2006 (Amendment of Schedule 2) (No. 2) Order 2009 to the Isle of Man. The substituted Schedule forms part of Chapter 1 of Part 28 of the Companies Act 2006, which was extended to the Isle of Man by the Companies Act 2006 (Extension of Takeover Panel Provisions) (Isle of Man) Order 2008, and which deals with disclosures of information arising from the exercise by the Takeover Panel of its powers and duties.
Article 1 provides for citation and commencement.
Article 2 provides for the extension of the substituted Schedule to the Isle of Man.
Article 3 contains revocations of spent provisions of the Companies Act 2006 (Extension of Takeover Panel Provisions) Order 2008 as a consequence of article 3 of the Companies Act 2006 (Amendment of Schedule 2) (No. 2) Order 2009.
The Order does not impose new costs on business, government or the voluntary sector.
