The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty in Council
Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 1(1) of the Consular Fees Act 1980[
1] is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is ordered, as follows:
1.
This Order may be cited as the Consular Fees (Amendment) (No. 2) Order 2007 and shall come into force on 16th August 2007.
2.
In Schedule 1 to the Consular Fees Order 2007[
2], Part II, fee 18(1) (c) shall be replaced with the following—
"
(c) entry clearance

|
(i) as a visitor, in each case for single, double and multiple entries valid for up to six months from the date of issue
|

(ii) for settlement
|
500 |
(iii) for marriage
|
500 |
(iv) as a student
|
99 |
(v) outside the Immigration Rules on an application by entertainers in accordance with Chapter 17 Section 3 of the Home Office Immigration Directorate's Instructions

(vi) outside the Immigration Rules on an application by sportsmen and women in accordance with Chapter 17 Section 8 of the Home Office Immigration Directorate's Instructions
|
99 |
(vii) outside the Immigration Rules on an application by voluntary workers in accordance with Chapter 17 Section 9 of the Home Office Immigration Directorate's Instructions
|
99 |
(viii) for any purpose other than those listed in paragraphs (a) and (b) and sub-paragraphs (i), (ii) (iii), (iv), (v), (vi) and (vii) listed above

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends Schedule 1 to the Consular Fees Order 2007.
This Order reduces the fee from £200 to £99 for entry clearance for entertainers, sportspersons and voluntary workers outside the Immigration Rules, in accordance with sections 3, 8 or 9 of Chapter 17 of the Home Office Immigration Directorate's Instructions where a work permit is not required.
The Immigration Rules (HC 395) referred to were laid before Parliament on 23 May 1994 under section 3(2) of the Immigration Act 1971 c. 77 (as amended).
