The Secretary of State for Health makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(4) and section 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 1977[
1]. She is satisfied that consultation has taken place in accordance with regulations made under section 8(5) of that Act[
2].
Citation, commencement and interpretation
1.
—(1) This Order may be cited as the Strategic Health Authorities (Establishment and Abolition) (England) Amendment Order 2006 and shall come into force on 30th June 2006.
(2) In this Order, "the principal Order" means the Strategic Health Authorities (Establishment and Abolition) (England) Order 2006[
3].
Amendment of principal Order
2.
In column (2) of Schedule 1 to the principal Order, for the words "North West Somerset" there shall be substituted the words "North Somerset".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Strategic Health Authorities (Establishment and Abolition) (England) Order 2006 by correcting the name of the County of North Somerset.
A full regulatory impact assessment has not been produced for this Order as it has no impact on the costs of business, charities or voluntary bodies.
