The Pensions Act 2004 (Funding Defined Benefits) Appointed Day Order 2006
The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004[

Citation
1.
This Order may be cited as the Pensions Act 2004 (Funding Defined Benefits) Appointed Day Order 2006.
Appointed day
2.
The day appointed for the purposes of section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004 (procedure for issue and publication of codes of practice) for the coming into effect of the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 03: Funding defined benefits is 15th February 2006.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order appoints the day for the purposes of section 91(9) of the Pensions Act 2004 (c.35) for the coming into force of the Pensions Regulator Code of Practice No. 03: Funding defined benefits as 15th February 2006.
