The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 1 and 6(1) of the Government Trading Funds Act 1973[
1], with the concurrence of the Treasury, makes the following Order:—
Citation and commencement
1.
This Order may be cited as the Forensic Science Service Trading Fund (Revocation) Order 2005 and shall come into force on 5
th December 2005.
Revocation
2.
The Forensic Science Service Trading Fund Order 1998[
2] is revoked.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes the Forensic Science Service Trading Fund Order 1998 ("the 1998 Order"). As a result of the revocation, the trading fund established by the 1998 Order ceases to exist and the operations of the Forensic Science Service (as described in Schedule 1 to the 1998 Order) cease to be financed by means of a trading fund and its assets and liabilities are no longer appropriated to a trading fund.
