The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 4(1)(a) of the Local Government Act 1999[1] (having regard to the definition in section 1(1)(d)), and having consulted, in accordance with section 4(3) of that Act, persons appearing to him to represent police authorities and such other persons as he thought fit, hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement 1.
This Order may be cited as the Police Authorities (Best Value) Performance Indicators (Amendment) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 2nd June 2003.
Amendment of performance indicators 2.
- (1) Schedule 3 (investigating crime) to the Police Authorities (Best Value) Performance Indicators Order 2003[2] is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (a) of indicator number PBV7 the figure "10,000" is substituted for the figure "1,000".
(3) In paragraph (b) of indicator number PBV8 the words "notifiable/recorded" is substituted for the word "notifiable".
