The A21 Trunk Road (A2100 Junction Improvement John's Cross) (Detrunking) Order 2002

  Made 19th March 2002 
  Coming into force 17th April 2002 

The Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by section 10 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

     1. This Order may be cited as the A21 Trunk Road (A2100 Junction Improvement John's Cross) (Detrunking) Order 2002 and shall come into force on 17th April 2002.

    
2. The lengths of trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road as from the date on which this Order comes into force.

THE SCHEDULE

LENGTHS OF TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE TRUNK ROAD


The lengths of road ceasing to be trunk road are - 

      (i) A21 Battle Road and A21 Vinehall for a distance of approximately 230 metres south eastwards and eastwards from a point 6 metres north west of John's Cross Motorcaravan and Camping Centre building, and

      (ii) A21 Battle Road and A21 Vinehall Road for a distance of approximately 60 metres westwards from a point 35 metres south of the south eastern corner of Oak Cottage.

    and are shown by zebra hatching on the plan numbered HA 10/PS/324 marked "The A21 Trunk Road (A2100 Junction Improvement John's Cross) (Detrunking) Order 2002", signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport, Local Government and the Regions and deposited at DTLR Records Management Branch, Floor 13 (IMD), Ashdown House, St Leonards on Sea, Hastings, East Sussex, TN37 7GA.
