Whereas an application for the purpose of both varying and amending the Bristol Education Action Zone has been made to the Secretary of State with the consent of the governing bodies of every school which it is proposed should be a participating school;
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 10(1), 10(3)(b) and 11 of the School Standards and Framework Act 1998[
1], hereby makes the following Order:
Citation and commencement
1.
This Order may be cited as the Bristol Education Action Zone (Variation) Order 2001 and shall come into force on 6th April 2001.
Variation and Amendment of the Bristol Education Action Zone Order 2000
2.
- (1) The Bristol Education Action Zone Order 2000[
2] shall be varied in accordance with paragraph (2) of this article, and amended in accordance with paragraphs (3) and (4).
(2) In Schedule 2 before the words "Cabot Primary School" there shall be inserted the words "Bristol Gateway School, DfEE number 8017001, Mogg Street, St Werburgh's, Bristol BS2 9UR."
(3) In paragraph (c) of Article 5 the word "five" shall be replaced by the word "six".
(4) In Schedule 1 the name, address and company details of the partner "Include" shall be deleted.

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order varies the Bristol Education Action Zone Order 2000 (S.I. 2000/865) by adding Bristol Gateway School to the schools which comprise the Zone, changing the business representation on the Forum from five to six and removing the company "Include" as a partner on the Forum.
