The Lord Chancellor and the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon them by section 125A(3) of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980(1), make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Magistrates' Courts Warrants (Specification of Provisions) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 8th January 2001.
2. The following provisions are specified for the purposes of section 125A(3) of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980-
(a)section 16(2) of the Children and Young Persons Act 1969(2);
(b)in the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980-
(i)section 76;
(ii)section 83(1) and (2);
(iii)section 86(4);
(iv)section 93(5);
(v)section 136;
(c)section 40 of the Child Support Act 1991(3);
(d)section 77(1)(b) of the Crime and Disorder Act 1998(4);
(e)in the Powers of Criminal Courts (Sentencing) Act 2000(5):
(i)section 104(1);
(ii)section 123(1);
(iii)paragraph 3(1)(b) of Schedule 3;
(iv)paragraph 1(1) of Schedule 5;
(v)paragraph 6(2) of Schedule 8 (but only where an application is made under paragraph 2(1) of that Schedule);
(f)regulations 41(1) and 42(5)(b) of the Community Charges (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1989(6);
(g)regulations 16(3)(a) and 17(5)(b) of the Non-Domestic Rating (Collection and Enforcement) (Local Lists) Regulations 1989(7);
(h)regulations 47(3)(a) and 48(5)(b) of the Council Tax (Administration and Enforcement) Regulations 1992(8).

Sections 125A to 125D of the Magistrates' Courts Act 1980, as inserted by sections 92, 93, 94 and 96 of the Access to Justice Act 1999, make provision for the manner of enforcement of warrants under statutory provisions to be specified by order. This order specifies the provisions to which those sections are to apply.
