The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) and (4) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and section 5(1) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after completion of the consultation prescribed under section 5(2) of the latter Act(3), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Amendment Order 2000 and shall come into force on 8th September 2000.
2. In article 4 of the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order(4) for "3 non-executive directors and 3 executive directors" substitute "4 non-executive directors and 4 executive directors".

This Order amends the establishment order of the West Yorkshire Metropolitan Ambulance Service National Health Service Trust, an NHS trust established by Order under Part I of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990, by increasing the number of non-executive directors and executive directors from 3 to 4 in each case.
1977 c. 49: section 126(3) and (4) was amended by section 65(2) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19), by paragraph 57 of Schedule 1 to the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17) ("the 1995 Act"), by paragraph 27 of Schedule 2 to the National Health Service (Primary Care) Act 1997 (c. 46) and by paragraph 37 of Schedule 4 to the Health Act 1999 (c. 8) ("the 1999 Act").
1990 c. 19: section 5 was amended by paragraph 69 of Schedule 1 to the 1995 Act and by section 13 of the 1999 Act.
