This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of a defect in S.I. 2000/2144 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

In exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 485 and 569(4) and (5) of the Education Act 1996(1), the Secretary of State for Education and Employment hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Education (Grants) (Dance and Drama) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2000 and shall come into force on 1st September 2000.
2.-(1) The Education (Grants) (Dance and Drama) (England) Regulations 2000(2) shall be amended as follows.
(2) In the Table in Schedule 2, in the entry for the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art for "£5913" in the fifth column there shall be substituted "£5973".

These Regulations amend the Education (Grants) (Dance and Drama) (England) Regulations 2000 by making an alteration to one of the figures in the Table in Schedule 2.
1996 c. 56. By virtue of S.I. 1999/672 the powers conferred by sections 485 and 489 are exerciseable by the Secretary of State only in relation to England.
