The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 163 of the Greater London Authority Act 1999(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Transport for London (Disposal of Lots Road Power Station) (Consent) Order 2000 and shall come into force on 30th August 2000.
2. Subject to article 3 below, the Secretary of State hereby consents to the disposal of the freehold interest in the land known as Lots Road Power Station and shown shaded grey and edged with a black line on the plan in the Schedule to this Order.
3. The disposal shall not take place until the land described in article 2 above has ceased to be used for the generation of electricity for any railway which is used for the provision of passenger services by Transport for London or a subsidiary of Transport for London.
