1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Export of Goods (Control) (Amendment No. 6) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 5th January 2000.
(2) In this Order, the "principal Order" means the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1994(3).
2. In Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the principal Order-
(a)in the heading of Group 3, the words from "Bosnia and Herzgovina" to the word "or" shall be deleted, and
(b)the following new group shall be added after Group 3:
1. The export of goods specified in this Group is prohibited to any destination in the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
Electronic equipment specially designed for television broadcast or television news gathering, as follows, and specially designed components therefor:
(a)Cameras;
(b)Transmitters, codecs and transposers;
(c)Satellite earth stations, and, up- and down-link equipment;
(d)Transmission link and relay equipment.".

This Order further amends the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1994 by
deleting Bosnia and Herzgovina and Croatia from the list of countries in Group 3 in Part 1 of Schedule 1 to which certain road vehicles may not be exported without a licence;
prohibiting the export to the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia of specified electronic equipment used for television broadcasting or television news gathering.
