The Lord Chancellor, in exercise of the power conferred on him by section 45(2) of the Access to Justice Act 1999(1), makes the following Order-“
1. This Order may be cited as the Appointment of Queen's Counsel Fees Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st September 1999.
2. Where a person applies to the Lord Chancellor to be recommended for appointment as Queen's Counsel in England and Wales, he shall pay a fee of £335.
