1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the A102 Trunk Road (Port Greenwich Development Slip Roads) Order 1997 and shall come into force on 8th January 1998.
(2) In this Order all measurements of distance are measured along the routes of the relevant highways.
2. The new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order shall become trunk roads from the date when this Order comes into force.
3. The centre lines of the new trunk roads are indicated by heavy black lines on the plan numbered LRO-B 64/E5330/5/1, marked "The A102 Trunk Road (Port Greenwich Development Slip Roads) Order 1997", signed by authority of the Secretary of State for Transport and deposited at the Highways Agency, St Christopher House, Southwark Street, London SE1 0TE.

The route of the new trunk road labelled A on the plan is about 330 metres in length, from the A102 (Blackwall Tunnel Southern Approach) carriageway about 60 metres north-west of the A102 (Blackwall Tunnel Southern Approach) junction with Dreadnought Street to Blackwall Lane north of the Blackwall Lane Roundabout at Greenwich Peninsula in the London Borough of Greenwich.
The route of the new trunk road labelled B on the plan is about 150 metres in length, from the junction with the new trunk road labelled A about 190 metres south-east of the A102 (Blackwall Tunnel Southern Approach) junction with Dreadnought Street to Blackwall Lane west of the Blackwall Lane Roundabout at Greenwich Peninsula in the London Borough of Greenwich.
