The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 165A of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having consulted the council of the City of Leeds, hereby makes the following Order-
1. This Order may be cited as the Leeds Development Corporation (Transfer of Property, Rights and Liabilities) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 31st March 1995.
2. There are hereby transferred to the Secretary of State any property, rights and liabilities vested for the time being in the Leeds Development Corporation which have not either been-
(a)transferred under an agreement made under section 165(2) of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980; or
(b)transferred under article 4 of the Leeds Development Corporation (Planning Functions) Order 1995(3).

This Order vests in the Secretary of State any residual property, rights and liabilities of the Leeds Development Corporation. It is proposed that the Leeds Development Corporation will be dissolved on 1st July 1995.
