The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 165A of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having consulted the councils of the County of Avon and the City of Bristol, hereby makes the following Order-
1. This Order may be cited as the Bristol Development Corporation (Transfer of Property, Rights and Liabilities) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 19th December 1995.
2. There are hereby transferred to the Secretary of State any property, rights and liabilities vested for the time being in the Bristol Development Corporation which have not been transferred under-
(a)an agreement made under section 165 of the Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980(2); or
(b)article 4 of the Bristol Development Corporation (Planning Functions) Order 1995(3).

This Order transfers to the Secretary of State any residual property, rights and liabilities of the Bristol Development Corporation. It is proposed that the Bristol Development Corporation will be dissolved on 1st April 1996.
