The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the A4 Trunk Road (Bath Road and Colnbrook By-Pass, Hillingdon) (50mph Speed Limit) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st December 1994.
2. No person shall drive any motor vehicle at a speed exceeding 50 miles per hour on that length of the A4 Trunk Road known as Bath Road and Colnbrook By-Pass between a point 96 metres west of its junction with Harlington High Street and a point 400 metres west of the westernmost abutment of the bridge over the River Colne, a distance of approximately 4200 metres.
