WATER SUPPLY, SCOTLAND

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 107(1)(b) and (3) of the Water (Scotland) Act 1980(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, on the application of the Shetland Islands Council, hereby makes the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Shetland Islands Council (Laxa Burn, Mid Yell) (Amendment) Water Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st November 1994.
(2) This Order and the Zetland County Council (Laxa Burn, Mid Yell, Yell) Water Order 1965(2) (hereinafter referred to as "the principal Order") may be cited together as the Shetland Islands Council (Laxa Burn, Mid Yell) Water Orders 1965 and 1994.
2. In articles 4(b) and 5(2)(b) of the principal Order for the expression "60,000 gallons" there shall be substituted the expression "350 cubic metres (77,000 gallons)".
3. The Shetland Islands Council shall at all times after the expiration of six months from the date on which this Order comes into force keep a copy thereof at the office of the Chief Executive of the Council.
