The Secretary of State for Transport, on the application of Lt. Commander Roy Wallace Francis R.N. Rtd and Marie Eleanor Francis, and in exercise of the powers conferred by section 24 of the Light Railway Act 1896(1) and now vested in him(2), and of all other powers enablihg him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway (Amendment) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 4th February 1994.
(2) This Order and the Wells and Walsingham Railway Light Railway Order 1982(3) may be cited together as the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway Orders 1982 and 1992.
2. For the definition of "the proprietors" in the Wells and Walsingham Railway Light Railway Order 1982 there shall be substituted the following definition -
""the proprietors" means-
Lt. Commander Roy Wallace Francis R.N. Rtd, of Hannay, Forncett St. Mary, Norwich, Norfolk; and
Mrs. Marie Eleanor Francis, of the same address; and
Dr. Rowan Nigel Francis of Kingsmuir, Low Road, Forncett St. Mary, Norwich, Norfolk; and
Mrs. Susan Hannay Rohde of 14 Farm Road, Warlingham, Surrey;
Provided that in the event of the death of any of the aforesaid persons the expression "the proprietors" shall mean the survivors or survivor for the time being of those persons."
