INTERNATIONAL IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES

Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred on Her by section 2(3) of the Arms Control and Disarmament (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1988(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Arms Control and Disarmament (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1988 (Guernsey) Order 1993 and shall come into force forthwith.
2. The Arms Control and Disarmament (Privileges and Immunities) Act 1988 shall extend to the Bailiwick of Guernsey, subject to the following modifications:
(a)section 1(1) shall be omitted;
(b)in section 1(2) for the words "Act of 1964" there shall be substituted the words "the Diplomatic Privileges Act 1964 as it has effect in the United Kingdom"; and the words following "disarmament" shall be omitted;
(c)in section 1(3) for the words "the Secretary of State" there shall be substituted the words "Her Majesty's Attorney General for Guernsey";
(d)in section 2, subsections (2) and (3) shall be omitted.
