1. The new highways which the Secretary of State proposes to construct along the routes described in the Schedule to this Order which connect the trunk road with other highways at the places stated in that Schedule (the highways along these routes being in this Order referred to as "the slip roads") shall become trunk roads as from the date when this Order comes into force.
2. The centre line of each of the slip roads is indicated by a heavy black line on the deposited plan.
3. In this Order:
(a) all measurements of distance are measured along the route of the relevant highway;
(b) (i) "the deposited plan" | means the plan numbered HA 10/2E/330 marked "The A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) Slip Roads Order 1993", signed by authority of the Secretary of State and deposited at the Department of Transport, Rom-ney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3PY; |
(ii)"the side roads order" | means "The A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) Side Roads Order 1993"; and |
(iii)"the trunk road" | means the A11 Trunk Road; |
4. This Order shall come into force on 23rd June 1993 and may be cited as the A11 Trunk Road (Stump Cross to A505 Junction Improvement) Slip Roads Order 1993.

The routes of the slip roads are at Stump Cross, and are as follows:
1. A route (given the reference number 1 on the deposited plan) from a roundabout (to be constructed by the Secretary of State pursuant to the side roads order and linking with the A1301, B184 and B1383) to the northbound carriageway of the trunk road.
2. A route (given the reference number 2 on the deposited plan) from the southbound carriageway of the trunk road to a roundabout (to be constructed by the Secretary of State pursuant to the side roads order, and linking with the A1301, B184 and B1383).
