The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 68(1) of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980((1)) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1993 and shall come into force on 1st August 1993.
2. Part I of Schedule 1 to the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1985((2)) is amended-“
(a)by deleting from the list of sports grounds specified there the following names:-“
Annfield, Stirling
Shawfield Stadium, Glasgow;
and
by inserting at the appropriate places in that list (which is in alphabetical order) the following names:-“
Allan Park, Cove
Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld
Forthbank Stadium, Stirling.

This Order amends the Sports Grounds and Sporting Events (Designation) (Scotland) Order 1985 which designates certain sports grounds and classes of sporting event for the purposes of Part V of the Criminal Justice (Scotland) Act 1980. As a result of the amendments Annfield, Stirling and Shawfield Stadium, Glasgow cease to be designated sports grounds and Allan Park, Cove, Broadwood Stadium, Cumbernauld and Forthbank Stadium, Stirling become designated sports grounds.
