(This note is not part of the Order)
The School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991 (Commencement No.1) Order 1991 (S.I. 1991/1874) brought into force sections 1, 4, 5 and 6(1), (2), (4) and (5) of and Schedule 1 to the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Act 1991.
This Order brings into force the remaining provisions of the 1991 Act, except section 2(7), on 6th March 1991. Article 4, however, preserves the operation of the Education (School Teachers' Pay and Conditions) Order 1991 until an Order under section 2(1) of the 1991 Act comes into force.
