The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 18(1) and 24(2) of the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. -“
(1) This Order may be cited as the Lotteries (Registration Authority Fees) (Scotland) Order 1991 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1991.
(2) This Order shall extend to Scotland only. 2.The fee payable under paragraph 3 of Schedule 1 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(2) (which makes provision for the registration of a society for the purposes of section 5 of that Act and prescribes a fee payable upon such registration to a registration authority) shall, instead of £25, be £35. 3.The fee payable under paragraph 9 of Schedule 1 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976(3) (which provides for an annual fee payable by a society registered under Part I of that Schedule to a registration authority) shall, instead of £12.50, be £17.50. 4.The Lotteries (Registration Authority Fees) (Scotland) Order 1985(4) is hereby -revoked.

This Order, which extends to Scotland only, increases from £25 to £35 the fee payable to a registration authority on the registration of a society under Part I of Schedule 1 to the Lotteries and Amusements Act 1976. It also increases the annual fee payable by a registered society from £12.50 to £17.50.
