The Secretary of State for Trade and Industry, with the consent ofthe Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 1973(1) hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the European Economic InterestGrouping (Fees) (Amendment) Regulations 1991 and shall come into forceon 1st July 1991.
2. The second column in the Schedule to the European Economic InterestGrouping (Fees) Regulations 1989(2) is amended as follows:
(a)for the second entry there is substituted the sum of £3.00, and
(b)for the third entry there is substituted the sum of £5.50.

These Regulations amend the European Economic Interest Grouping(Fees) Regulations 1989 by increasing some of the fees payable to theregistrar of companies which were prescribed by those Regulations, asamended by the European Economic Interest Grouping (Fees) (Amendment)Regulations 1990, as follows:-
1. The fee for inspection of documents is increased from £2.75 to£3.00.
2. The fee for delivering or sending by post by the registrar ofcompanies of a copy or extract of any document or particulars, or of anypart thereof, delivered to the registrar and kept by him by virtue ofregulation 14 of the European Economic Interest Grouping Regulations1989, is increased from £5.00 to £5.50 for each copy or extract.
