Whereas the Secretary of State has granted to Kingdom CablevisionLimited on 18th April 1991 a Licence ("the Licence") under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act 1984(1) ("the Act"), to which section 8 of the Act applies, for the running of thetelecommunication systems specified in Annex A to the Licence ("the Applicable Cabled Systems"):
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, in exercise of the powersconferred on him by section 9 of the Act, hereby makes the followingOrder:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Public Telecommunication SystemDesignation (Kingdom Cablevision Limited) (Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy)Order 1991 and shall come into force on 12th June 1991.
2. Each of the Applicable Cabled Systems is hereby designated as apublic telecommunication system.

The Secretary of State granted to Kingdom Cablevision Limited alicence on 18th April 1991 under section 7 of the Telecommunications Act1984 to run the telecommunication systems specified in Annex A to thatlicence, in the Glenrothes and Kirkcaldy area. A copy of the licence waslaid before Parliament on 15th May 1991. This Order designates thosetelecommunication systems as public telecommunication systems.Consequently, by virtue of section 9(3) of that Act, Kingdom CablevisionLimited will be a public telecommunications operator in respect of itsGlenrothes and Kirkcaldy public telecommunication systems when the Ordercomes into force on12th June 1991.
